ABOUT US
We are a small breeding operation 
located
in the gently, rolling, piney woods of northwestern Louisiana, halfway between Shreveport and Alexandria and just 10 miles from the historic town of Natchitoches, the oldest permanent European settlement in the Louisiana Purchase. We are only four miles from Interstate 49 and are easy to reach.
We have been raising horses for over 25 years, starting with Anglo-Arabians but switched to Appaloosas in the early-1990s because of the appaloosa's calm, level-headed disposition.
Our goal is to be recognized as the producers of horses with the athletic ability of a top performance horse and the disposition of a family horse. To reach this goal we have selected mares that are correct fluid movers with outstanding pedigrees and then breed them to the best stallions. We are breeding appaloosas so color is important and fortunately there is a number of top quality colored stallions available today. We breed our mares using both live cover and shipped semen which makes it possible to find what we hope is the best possible match for each mare. We believe in the versatility of the appaloosa.
 The filly at left is CQ Dream Royale, aka Milly, who is one of our homegrown horses. In 2007 as a two-year old, she earned her ROM in Hunter in Hand Mares. She also picked up halter points and finished the year tied for the Overall Reserve High Point Halter Horse Champion with the Arkansas Appaloosa Horse Club. She finished first in Two Year Old Mares and second in Hunter in Hand Mares with that club. Milly will be shown under saddle in 2008 by Carol Jones of American Acres Training Center, Inc.
